- field inquiries from people responding to the advertisement

- interview applicants and prepare written profiles of them

- help you create a plan for interviews you will be conducting yourself

- participate on the interview panel with you

- undertake thorough, impartial reference-checking of short-listed applicants

- discuss the applicants with you and help you select the best one for your needs

- handle the process of presenting the offer to the successful candidate

- help you settle the terms of employment.
